Pre-Season Plate Announced

The Online Rugby League, O.R.L, have today announced the launch of the Pre-Season Plate. The first Official competition in the world of Online Rugby League.

Over previous weeks the Online Rugby League has been in Very Early Alpha testing, a handful of people playing in friendly challenges and series as well as taking part in our Friendly Knock Out Cup which runs Monday to Friday. Feedback has been primarily positive, the match engine; with a few minor alterations over that period, has handled its task and produced results.

As such we are looking to step it up a gear, taking the step from friendlies and getting people to register their teams to our major competitions (the ORL Premiership and the AusZealand Trophy) and introducing the first official competitive tournament – the Pre-Season Plate.

The Pre-Season Plate is a Group + Knock Out Competition; meaning all teams will be split evenly amongst the groups. Each team will play the others in their group once with the top two going through to the knock out stage against other qualifiers until a winner is determined.

You can enter any of your teams into this competition.

The Pre-Season Plate matches will be played at 7:00pm AEST on Monday and Friday evenings, with the first round scheduled for Friday 8th August.
