ORL reaches next stage
The Online Rugby League (ORL) has moved to the next stage in its development, namely into what they are calling the ‘Very Early Alpha’ stage.
After developing much of the Behind-the-scenes engines tasked with operating the day-to-day operations of the Online Rugby League the step has been taken to move out of the development shadows and take the first public step in relation to the on-going development of the online management game and with it releasing the project into its Very Early Alpha stage.
Paying homage to the International Interactive Rugby League (IIRL) and the RLSIM comes this new-age online Rugby League Management Game, bring the game of Rugby League that we all love and adore to our computer screens while putting us in control of our clubs.
With global and regional competitions, varying from leagues, groups and knock outs variants, the Online Rugby League is being designed to bring continued fun to Rugby League fans as they establish their clubs and identities while building their legacies as they chase Premiership glory.
Sponsors, Stadiums and Finances all feature as part of the club management task each coach takes on, while off-season contract negotiations and signings also play a role in this hands on coaching gig. The best thing is the system is designed to run as automotive as possible.
Matches and results are instantly simulated on schedule, ladders and statistics updated upon game completion not to mention promotion/relegation during the off season if the competition has it. ORL is aimed at taking all the bits and pieces fans loved from all the IIRL Competitions past and bring them together in one system, that doesn’t rely on certain people to help operate and run, to give Rugby League fans the best product available.
By moving into the ORL Very Early Alpha release it means we are needing more beta testers, more feedback, and therefore letting the Rugby League world quietly know of the Online Rugby League so more features can be tested and feedback provided to help guide development.
To celebrate and to test the ORL have opened a number of differing competitions that people are now able to join.
